Meet The Prospector, a custom Double R Guitars build that blends classic American guitar aesthetics with carefully selected modern components and a few unique touches that make this guitar unmistakably Double R.

Finished in a striking Goldtop Gold, The Prospector is topped off with a custom engraved black chrome pickguard that gives this guitar a distinctive, old-school appearance with just the right amount of attitude. The combination of gold and black chrome is as eye-catching as the tone this guitar delivers.

The neck features an AllParts MIJ Licensed Fender TRO-C maple neck with a comfortable C-shaped profile and a 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard. The rosewood board has been dyed to complement the guitar's overall finish and the neck is finished with Tru-Oil for a smooth, natural feel. A bone nut and Gotoh staggered tuners provide dependable tuning stability.

For the bridge, The Prospector uses a Wilkinson ashtray-style bridge with compensated saddles, delivering classic Tele-style twang while providing improved intonation across the fretboard.

The pickup combination is where The Prospector really comes alive. A set of Tonerider Hot Classic pickups delivers plenty of vintage-inspired character with added output and punch. The open neck pickup adds another layer of clarity and bite, giving this guitar everything from warm, rounded tones to sharp country twang and gritty overdrive.
