The heart of the RS201 is its custom Rumble Filter circuit, inspired by the legendary low-frequency filtering technology originally developed by EMI engineers at Abbey Road in the 1950s. Built directly into the guitar, this unique system allows you to shape and tighten the low end for greater clarity and mix-ready tones without relying on an external EQ or pedal.
The thin hollow-body maple construction delivers the airy, resonant character Gretsch guitars are known for, while the custom-voiced Filter’Tron pickups provide articulate highs, punchy mids, and plenty of classic Gretsch chime. A comfortable maple neck, bound ebony fingerboard, Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, Bigsby B60 vibrato, Adjusto-Matic bridge, and elegant gold hardware complete the package.
